Eternity Knot Blanket
You will be buying a crochet pattern in pdf format NOT a finished item.
This is an instant digital download so there are no refunds, returns or exchanges.
The eternity knot is a popular form of Celtic Knot and is an ideal choice for a rectangular blanket suitable to lay on a bed or snuggle into.
In order to create the rainbow blend of colour twenty different colours were chosen. The knot works best in a neutral shade with a contrasting edge. The blanket uses less than 50g of acrylic DK yarn, so if buying in 100g balls you would have enough left over to make the coloured background for my African Snow Flower Blanket which uses a similar colour range.
Full details are given as how to choose the colours. The twenty colours need to comprise four different shades of five different colour families. The colour families are Red (including pink), Yellow / orange, Green, Blue, and Violet / purple.
A shade card for samples of the background yarns is provided to help with keeping track of the yarn needed for each square. It can be printed on card and stuck together. The yarns of each family are given letters A, B, C or D.
Full square by square instructions are given for constructing the central portion of the blanket. Then there are more instructions for completing it, by edging the knot and adding a surrounding pre-border then one of two final borders.
