These were devised originally as something suitable to attach to Easter cards that could be used later. Made in #10 cotton thread they would suitable for a bible, though they could also be made in #20 for a smaller version.

If you would prefer a smaller cross bookmark suitable for a small bible or prayer book you might prefer my Dainty Cross Bookmark.

There are two designs of cross with a basic edging and two further choices of edging for the fancier cross. There are also instructions for adding a cord and tassel. At the end you will find photo and chart free versions of the patterns for easier printing.

SKILL LEVEL: Confident beginner and above.

CROCHET TERMS: Choice of UK or US crochet terms.

FORMAT: Charts are provided as well as written instructions.

USES: Only basic stitches.

YARN: #10 mercerised cotton thread.

SIZE: 4ins (10cm) x 5ins (13cm).

There is a choice of two two PDF files (0.8M each): one in UK and one in US crochet terms.

I include tutorials within the pattern for things that may be unfamiliar but I am also always willing to give help for any of my patterns.

I also sell my patterns on Ravelry as Rainbow Junkie. To have the pattern added to your Ravelry library you would need to buy it there.
