Celtic Coasters
You will be buying a crochet pattern in pdf format NOT a finished item.
This is an instant digital download so there are no refunds, returns or exchanges.
Perhaps it's my Welsh ancestry but I love Celtic knots and one day I set myself the task of designing a coaster using Celtic plaitwork.
This is what I arrived at. The coasters are made by interleaving four rectangular crochet strips. You only need a small amount of of yarn. Ideally made with four or at least two colours as you will see from the photographs.
There are written instructions plus diagrams showing how to weave the strips together.
The pattern is also available in an eBook of all three of my Celtic Knot Coasters plus a bonus Triquetra knot coaster.
A bonus idea is that using Super chunky cotton you can create a hot pad. The last photograph shows one made from some DMC XL cotton. It used just over half a ball. It came out about six inches (15cm) square and is shown on a wooden trivet about seven inches (17.5cm) square.
If you prefer using worsted weight yarn, you might like to try out my Worsted Celtic Coasters pattern, which produces a similar sized and similar looking coaster.
SKILL LEVEL: Confident beginner and above.
CROCHET TERMS: Choice of UK or US crochet terms.

I also sell my patterns on Ravelry as Rainbow Junkie. To have the pattern added to your Ravelry library you would need to buy it there.
